MPC Cajon Expansion: Golden Cajon
If you need authentic cajon sounds then this MPC expansion is for you. The MPC expansion consists of four drum programs with eight velocity layers per each pad (multisamples) for authentic playing and finger drumming. It is optimized for standalone use, but can also be used in the MPC software perfectly.

All cajons have been recorded with multiple mics to capture the powerful sound and good stereo field of the instruments. Cajons have been developed by African slaves and you can hear cajons in many songs and genres. Very often they are used in unplugged music to substitute a typical drum set. But you can also use cajons as main drums in modern music or just to add great percussive elements to your beats. |

Cajons have deep bass sounds (similar to a kick drum) , higher pitched sounds to replace a snare drum and they have so called ghost notes to add rhythm and groove. TIn addition to that we have recorded a side stick for having a replacement of a cassical hi hat in cajon style. Last but not least we have sampled some strokes on the sides (similar to tom sounds) of the recorded cajons to get a wide variety of sounds.
The sounds are all royalty free and include the commercial usage rights, so you can use the included sounds in your music productions without hesitation (reselling the samples in sample packs or for the production of competing products is not allowed, but this is common practice). The sample format is in WAV (44.1 kHz / 24-bit). There are about 1.107 samples (about 177 MB) included.
